Richard Leroy Corbaley was born in Indiana on February 1, 1882, moved to Los Angeles in 1902. He was an Illustrator and painter. His favorite subjects were allegory, figure, genre (human activity) and landscapes. He died in Los Angeles on July 8, 1960.
He is referenced in the Artists Bluebook; Davenport's Art Reference and two editions of Artists in California.
