Bust of Lenin, Figure of Lenin, 60th Anniversary vase of the Soviet Navy (1977). Offered for sale. Obtained directly in Moscow - the bust (bought 2002), the Lenin figure obtained 1999 - Kremminchug, Ukraine, the Navy vase 2001 Kremmenchug, Ukraine. A catalog specializing in European optics in their 2007 catalog describes their offerings " Busts and Figures of Lenin, Been searching for busts of Lenin for years. Once a plentiful item, now rarer than hens teeth! It drove me crazy when Eastern Europe de-constructed its past and dismantled and destroyed all that public sculpture. I could understand the emotions, but argue with the deed. The past is its own reality and the removal doesn't wipe it clean, now does it? Each of these rare pieces, rendered in cast aluminum, or some such weird metal, was sculpted by a different artist betwwen the 1960's - 80's."
