Michael Reichardt was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Michael Reichardt is a painter who prefers working with acrylics and watercolors. He has exhibited regularly the Forum Art Institute of Winnipeg, including a one-man show in 1995.
He has produced much commercial art, primarily commission paintings and is also an art teacher, hoping to inspire talented youth.
Reichardt had an early interest in art and was selected when he was in grade school to take lessons at the Winnipeg School of Art. As a teenager, he worked in pen and ink media.
For many years, Reichardt worked for Shell Canada, and upon retirement turned to a career in art. He studied for five years at the Forum Art Institute of Winnipeg and worked closely with favorite artists including Roy Fijal and Luther Pokrant of Winnipeg.
